FAQ

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a semi-permanent brow tattoo that mimics the look of real brow hair. It is achieved with a small blade and handle. No tattoo gun is used.

DOES MICROBLADING HURT?

A very common question I get is, does it hurt? The answer is, it depends. Every client has a unique pain threshold. I also use 2 different, high quality, Lidocaine-based numbing creams before and during your appointment. Most clients experience little to no pain!

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

For microblading, avoid blood thinners: caffeine, ibuprofen, fish oil, etc. 24-48 hours before your appointment.

Avoid facial procedures:

Botox needs to be done 3 weeks prior, or 2 months after the procedure.

Discontinue Chemical/Laser peels, Retin-A, Microdermabrasion, AHA (Alpha Hydroxy) skincare regimens 6 weeks prior to the procedure.

No waxing, tinting, or threading 1 week prior to the procedure.

You won't want any direct water from the shower to hit your brows for 5 days after the procedure. Use a washcloth to cleanse the face.

Don't plan to get microbladed right around a tropical vacation.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LASH EXTENSIONS?

Do not wet your lashes for 24 hours after your appointment, as the glue needs to cure slowly.
Make sure to wash your lashes daily with a lash cleansing brush and gentle cleanser.
No pulling or tugging on the lashes as this can decrease retention.
